I feel happy today. It is a local holiday so Artschool is shut and I got a day off. It was a nice morning and my friend came up from Glasgow to have a lovely day together. So I didn't even mind the downpour of the afternoon.
Birdwatching Phil
A set of binoculars is required to fetch
the little birds.
In my own neighbourhood
I watch them all day -
every day
until the sun disappears for the moon.
Bathing Anna
I float in the depth of the ocean.
I listen to the echo
of my heartbeat
underneath the bubbles
of my own wee bathtub.
What amazing hiding place!
Airplane Joe
The sudden gust of light wind
makes me feel dizzy.
No longer bound to natural ground
I imagine I fly,
spinning around the universe
of my own wee room.
